Love In Repair:
A Relational Repair Series for Couples
This introductory workshop series is for couples who have experienced hurt, distance, or a shift in trust and want to reconnect without blame or pressure. Rather than rehashing the past, the focus becomes understanding how stress, defensiveness, and emotional withdrawal affect connection — and how to interrupt those patterns with steadiness and care.
Couples will learn practical tools to slow reactivity, communicate more clearly, and redirect emotional energy back into the relationship. The emphasis is on restoring safety first, so both partners can feel grounded, heard, and back on the same side.
This 3-Part Series will be held in person on the following dates:
Part One: January 31st from 10:30 AM- 12:00 PM
Part Two: February 28th from 10:30 AM- 12:00 PM
Part Three: March 28th from 10:30 AM- 12:00 PM
Presented by:

Appolonia is a Doctoral Candidate, Clinical Social Work Intern and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional who enjoys helping couples slow down, restore emotional safety, and reconnect after periods of stress or disconnection.
Part One: When Love Falters

Restoring Trust, Energy, and Connection
Part One introduces couples to the foundation of relational repair by focusing on safety, steadiness, and understanding rather than blame or problem-solving. This workshop helps partners recognize how stress and emotional protection can disrupt connection, and offers gentle, practical ways to slow reactivity and return to a sense of being on the same side.
Through guided reflection and calming, body-based practices, couples learn how to redirect emotional energy back into the relationship and restore a felt sense of trust and presence. Part One stands on its own while also preparing couples for deeper repair and reconnection in later workshops. At its core, this workshop is about creating a felt sense of safety before moving into deeper repair.

Part Two: Presence Over Protection

Rebuilding Trust with Care and Accountability
Part Two is about helping couples stay present once the initial defenses soften. It’s less about “working things out” and more about learning how to remain steady and engaged during hard moments without shutting down or getting defensive. The focus is accountability without collapse and listening without re-injuring each other.

Part Three: Returning To Us

Deepening Intimacy Through Safety and Presence
Part Three is about rebuilding closeness through safety, consent, and presence — not performance. Helping couples experience intimacy as something that emerges when the body feels safe, not something you “do right.”
